Do you know how much the item weighs? Can you not do liquid nitrogen method/disappearing ink method for this? If it is "stolen" or lost during transit, its not your responsibility as long as the weight matches.

Yeah just arrived earlier today. Came inside a Royal Mail box with all of the different items inside their individual smaller boxes. Worth a partial parcel attempt?

So light my scale doesnt pick it up. Told them that the ring wasnt in the box yesterday but they said that their referring me to a different part of the customer service team and that I should expect a response soon.

Still havent got it. They are continually saying that I need to wait for the other team to finish the investigation before they give a refund. I believe that if you outright ask for a refund instead of letting them talk to the other team they might give it to you right there and then, depending on how nice the worker is.
