All you need to do is contact Currys stating the desktop you purchased is missing from the packaging and mention that the package looked tampered with, but don't go into much detail. Like I said, the photo the courier took of your parcel is going to help your claim significantly because it looks tampered with from the one photo they took. RE: Gaming PC delivered Open. All the events are enough to execute the method effectively. RE: Gaming PC delivered Open. The package would have been weighed by the courier. I could take components out I suppose? The DPD delivery driver would surely know that the computer was in there? The computer weighs 10kg!! The word of the driver doesn’t mean anything, just like it doesn’t when you execute the DNA method. RE: Gaming PC delivered Open. So should I just say it came missing the computer? Also, its from Currys and was shipped by DPD and they are both difficult to deal with. RE: Gaming PC delivered Open. Yes, say that the package arrived without the computer, ensure clarify that there were evident signs of tampering, when they start an investigation they'll check the couriers photo and see that the package has been tampered with. I am happy to say it worked! The Currys agent did not question anything at all! I did not even say the box was tampered with just that the computer was not in it. DPD are collecting the box (it has cables and a mouse and keyboard in it) on the 5th and the refund will be issued when Currys receive it I am expecting a bit of pushback or something when they open it even though the agent knew. I just know there will be something from them RE: Gaming PC delivered Open. If you encounter any complications it'll be because they've cross-checked the weight, but you know how to circumvent that. Let us know how it goes. RE: Gaming PC delivered Open.
