RE: Target airpods EB having trouble - Jwilsa - 11-30-2022 (11-29-2022, 09:31 PM)mammta21 Wrote: I have just had another call with a manager and the only thing they said is that they, as Target.com, cannot do anything as the order was picked up in store and not shipped. So they told me to go back in store and report the EB. Now it really comes down to couple of options, either go there with empty box and tell them about it(even if 3 days already passed since pickup), or seal the empty box and return it(eventually can I do it to another Target as well?), or paypal. Otherwise will just be a failed SE. And also, not sure if I am just panicking, but If I seal the box or even just claim it was empty while in store, will they be suspicious or check the box as they've been eventually informed by the online team? @mothered what would you suggest? Also if I seal the empty box, should I leave the charging cable inside to give it a little more weight? And be less suspicious during return? Most SE’rs don’t ever go in person for claims, they’ll probably see that you’re either being genuine or ballsy and likely just comp the $220 or whatever it costed if you decide to go back to the store. Just remember to tell them that customer support online told you to return it back to them. RE: Target airpods EB having trouble - mammta21 - 11-30-2022 Update: SE in store successful! Went there, with empty box, no seal broken, just opened and with only the cable inside and they issued a refund + a little GC. @mothered They called the manager cause didn't hear of anything similar before and didn't know how to handle the situation. The manager just took the box, said to refund me via PayPal and claim the product as defective after getting it examined. Is there any risk? I know that the airpods pro don't have gps but still, am I good and safe to use them? Thanks 👍🏼 RE: Target airpods EB having trouble - Georgesalo - 11-30-2022 (11-30-2022, 04:45 PM)mammta21 Wrote: Update: SE in store successful! So u claim eb via call and then you visit the store with the box only ? Not sealed? Ordered online and picked up in store and when opening the box I carefully managed to pull the seals without breaking them(so in case the SE would fail i could have tried to return it). The thing is online spent 3 days between emails, live chats and calls and they are a bunch of birdbrains. Nobody was helpful and at the end someone of the higher service team told that the only option was to go in store. So that's how it went, end of story it was s success.(11-30-2022, 04:45 PM)mammta21 Wrote: Update: SE in store successful!
