In theory you should not encounter any issues with the device as long as you don't login using the account you ordered with. It is essentially a PC with no hardware based security that could lock it, worst comes to worst as well you could also just load a windows 10 install onto it but I have not heard anything happening

After a few hours the L2 Trigger is stucked. I have to open it an try to repair the button.

The SD was one of my first SE's. I sold my reservation on Ebay, used those funds to purchase it, then EB'd Valve and sent the received item to the buyer on Ebay. Valve sent a replacement and I got a free SD!

so eb could potentially works on steam
