Update:
The AirPods arrived and I have chatted with an Amazon rep. Unfortunately they said they could only send me new AirPods and I couldn't get a refund. I have tried multiple times to get a refund instead of being send new AirPods.
The new AirPods will arrive tomorrow. How do I send them back and get a refund? Can I just send them back for reasons like change of mind?

Basically, use whichever option complies with their refund policy.
