Did they actually experience an account closure after an Instant refund?

If so, I don't see why ASOS would do that. If It's a legit claim there'd be no reason to warrant It, so the same will apply to a given SE.

Well, It confirms It.

I still don't agree with ASOS' actions to close the account for a one-off Incident that doesn't raise any suspicion whatsoever.

Yep it's weird, although with a aged account they don't ban it from what i've tested - this was a while back so it may be different

No doubt an aged account holds more value, so It's probably still the case nowadays.

It's solely their call to Issue an Instant refund, and then they punish the buyer by closing their account. Try and work that out.

It's stupid honestly but not as stupid as zalando asking you for ID

They can also ban old accounts. Personally, I did a DNA with them about 2 years ago on an account that was several years old, a dozen orders and no refund. The result was that after announcing that they were going to refund my money, they finally banned my account without any refund and I had to do a cashback with my bank to get my money back...
It was an order of about 300€.

For me Asos is to be avoided given my experience
