They've been difficult to deal with for quite a while.

Hey Mothered, I got a reply back and it's not good. This is their reply:

"Good day.

I hope this email finds you well. Your Reference Number is <Number>.

This is a quick update on your ongoing case to us. By the way, my name is <Name> one of the resolution expert from the online shop of Samsung.

Upon checking on your query, I understand this is regarding on the missing parcel for your Galaxy Buds Pro, Phantom Black. Please know that our consultant manage to coordinate this to our team and have this properly investigated. After our investigation and further double checking the probable cause, it was stated below that;

Warehouse has confirmed the items were picked and packed correctly.
Parcel undergo a lot of assessment before it will be deliver on your address.
The parcel is weighted before shipment and system would pick it up if the box was to be empty.
DPD confirmed also that there is no damage on your parcel when they deliver the item.

Therefore, this conclude that we manage to deliver your parcel on your address and because of this we will disapprove your missing goods claim.

So sadly in this case we will stand by the decision of our investigation. Furthermore, we will now consider this matter closed.

Always take care and stay safe. Have a great day ahead.

Kind regards,"

I've sent back an email, saying to provide me with evidence with pictures from all angels, like you said. Also told them to tell me what their "assessments" entail. Also told them to provide evidence of the buds being in the box, as well as proof of the weight via crosschecking it with the carrier.

It's similar to their previous/original message. They've changed the context a little to make It appear as though they've looked Into It further.

They have not attended to anything relating to this. Tell them to specifically address each question.

I have. I replied to them asking for proof of what you wrote. I will tag you once I get a reply back.

Excellent.

They're going to need a miracle to answer and provide evidence to each question accordingly.

Case closed. No refund, unfortunately. A guy from their resolution team phones me today, and pretty much told me that they did their investigation and concluded that the item was packaged correctly, DPD said the package was not tampered with, etc. I was on the phone for 15 minutes, and he apologised about the service but reiterated again and again about how they did their investigation and assessments and found that everything was good. I also did what you told me to do, which was to tell them to provide evidence of their claims, but his response was that it was against Samsung's security policy, and that he cannot do it. I literally told him 5, 6 times to provide me with evidence, but was adamant that they did their investigation but cannot provide me with anything as it's against their security policy. I told him I just want evidence and not to see the ins and outs of the operation, but he flat out refused and did not budge one iota. He also said since they did all that they needed, the case is now closed and cannot even be opened back up or escalated. I told him how do I know they're not just lying, and he said "if we were lying, we wouldn't have spend the last 5 weeks investigating this claim".
He sent an email, which was this:

"Thank you for answering my call today. Your Reference Number is <number>.

As per our conversation, I understand that you're unhappy on the outcome of the investigation but please know that we did our best to make sure that proper investigation has been done. Again, after our investigation it was confirmed that the parcel that you received is not empty. Therefore, we will stand by the decision of our investigation and will consider your matter closed.

Once again, thank you for your utmost patience and understanding. Have a great day ahead!

Kind regards,"

This is one of the worst company's I have ever dealt with. I would avoid like the plague. They provided absolute fuckall evidence, and did not budge at all. I will take this loss, as it was only £150, but avoid this fucking awful company.

What a load of nonsense. He could've made the whole thing up.

Tell him to email you exactly where It states that It's against their security policy to provide the said evidence. If he's true to his word, he'll have no hesitation fulfilling your request - It's only a snippet of their policy, which Is available to anyone on request.
