It's like the regular NSP rule I imagine, you can select which forums it applies to right? That's if it's spam. There are plenty who post shitty posts, that don't break forum rules. It would bring down the average quality of posts, and generate more work for admins and result in sellers getting banned for very small offenses like gravedigging. It's not worth it. There's also the issue that we're not an elitist forum. I think is something that makes SL a nicer place, but it does also result in some content people are not interested in. It means we allow lots of stuff, including sales bumps. There are rules around bumps for regular sales, and there are filters so people don't have to look at the bumps/regular sales if they don't want to. This is also why we have the premium section and paid options for sellers. This suggestion is a cool idea, but based on some trial and error of the past, the solution of newly implemented bump rules and filtering are already designed to reduce the negative impacts of thread bumps. I don't think it's fair to punish sellers because they're not offering the content others want them to. A sales thread is still content. RE: NSP to bump - Andrea Bags - 09-03-2022 the only real benefit which I like is having a bot do the bump for you so you don't have to double post it could be an option and not a hard rule right? |
