So I was going to wait until they process my refund and see it on my account before posting here. However, I'll consider this update 80% there.
Checked out the via guest account on Macy's arrived on my door steps 2 days ago via UPS .
Called in and the rep didn't ask the standard questions after I blabbered on about not receiving my package and immediately asked if I want a replacement or credit refund. The rep asked me to call back today to check the status. Which I did and a different rep pulled up the order# and said the refund was processed today and email should be coming soon.

Be sure to keep a record of whom you spoke with, as well as the time and date of the conversation.

Update: PayPal notification just hit with the refund issued by Macy's. This was surprisingly easy SE. Makes me think if it's a one time thing.
