That's nonsense, they simply can't be bothered dealing with your claim.

Always request to speak to another CS on a higher level.

Yes, you have to be a little pushy with them, insist on not using their service again/going to a competitor's app and never using theirs again etc.

Hi,

I'm sorry to hear of your experience regarding your recent order.

As this is a serious claim, you must report this directly to the Food Standards Agency via the following link: [redacted]

We work closely with the Food Standards Agency, but are not permitted to intervene in cases like this.

The Food Standards Agency will likely conduct a full investigation into the restaurant, and take any necessary action. They'll also communicate directly with you.

I've also notified our Compliance Team about your experience, as we record all claims of this nature.

Thank you for getting in touch with us.
Kind regards,

Customer Care Agent

This is the transcript I found, I then emailed stating that the Agency stated that I resolve this issue with the delivery company however they dismissed that idea immediately and told me again to resolve this issue through the Food Standards Agency.

This transcript was from several months ago please bear in mind.

I hope this could be of some help to somebody.

The following department should've handled your claim:
Quote:I've also notified our Compliance Team about your experience, as we record all claims of this nature.

You've claimed through them hence If the Food Standards Agency needs to be contacted, they can do It, rather than passing everything on to you.

RE: Best method to SE food delivery apps - dagaggg - 08-18-2022

Methods I've tried in order of preference
1. Wrong order delivered
2. Wrong order delivered + I'm muslim/vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/etc (more limiting since you can't order certain things)
3. Delivered to wrong location (bad for delivery driver, so I don't use it unless the driver was an asshole). I sometimes swap the door mat or something if photo proof is needed.
4. Delivered food too late and it went bad
