2 months ago, refund finalized after 1 month though. Meta proved to be insanely slow and inefficient in its processment.
May have changed in those 2 months. Not sure if you can still hit them for EB today. What you reckon

They only banned the account though, you can just make a new one and keep using it?

Probably so, I still haven't tried and don't want to yet.
The ban is mostly preventing me from using the store and has little to no impact on everything else I do with the headset.

Yeah, I can sideload apps with no problems. The only annoyance is being unable to access the Oculus Store, there are some nice free apps on there.

Not "ALL". Sideloaders don't list freely available apps because, otherwise, their list would grow infinitely long.
They're freely available from the store after all, aren't they? So go get them there.
