Anything with a dyson sticker costs an arm and a leg

I absolutely agree.

Around a decade ago, I grabbed a Dyson vacuum cleaner for 1,200$ but I must say, It did a remarkable job with cleaning my carpet.

I’m interested in doing Dyson too. With their fans they offer a collect and repair service. Not sure about the Airwrap. Perhaps S/N with POP is the best way to go. And then claims disposed of item as it was a safety hazard ;(caught on fire).

@mollynation123, any progress with your SE?

I will likely do it very soon.

My thought so far is:

buy instore (we have an store that sells it, and we will have POP, with 30 days free return to the store)
use S/N to connect to dyson for an RMA. Disposed the item because it caused an fire, and we didnt take any chance.
return instore, and use the SN to complete the SE.

Good approach.

The disposed of the faulty Item method Is quite effective, but when they remain adamant with the return, It's a very lengthy process.
