The mic is not sold in-store here, you have to order it online. As for the POP, I'm afraid they'll verify it and realise it's fake. I can't say the gift excuse because POP is mandatory. That's why I sourced the SN from an individual seller.

I'm surprised to read this because while browsing this forum, most people said they got their SN from ebay and facebook marketplace sellers which I believe is the same as what I'm trying to do, just a different app. I also do not understand how it may impact the seller in my case, but it wouldn't impact ebay and fb ones or even unboxers who may have received the item as PR.

Ok, thanks. I have some more questions about the email they sent me. They asked for my address, full name and phone number "in case the carrier needs to contact you". However, they didn't say if it was for a return or to send me a new one. I also managed to photoshop the picture they asked of me and I'd appreciate some feedback since it's my first time doing this https://imgur.com/a/4PJVARA

I'm thinking of editing the POP sent by the individual seller and only changing his personal credentials, leaving order number etc untouched. Would that work? Or would it be better to just make a fake POP from the same store?
I tried buying it in-store in cash, but my only options are online orders with no pick-up points nor drop addys available.

Would that work?The order number/Invoice number Is what companies/manufacturers use to verify the POP Itself, so unless they delve Into the buyer's details, your plan will suffice.

My plan worked and they've issued a replacement. They have not onced mentioned anything about sending back the broken one
I'd say it's a success. This is patched in the US though. Thank you all for your input!
