I'm torn between SEing the product I want and SEing something more expensive, sell it and then buying the product legitimately. My concern is safety. I've been doing some digging into Lenovo's return process in my country: they'll send a driver to your address to collect the package for you but they'll send a label via email. I don't think that the driver would open a sealed box to check its contents but I'm not sure. It shouldn't show signs of tampering since it's sealed box (there's just 1 black round sticker). I tried calling the carrier to ask if I may deposit a return in their office because I won't be home, but they won't pick up the phone. They're T N T who will soon merge with Fed ex Express. Any thoughts? RE: Trying Le no vo - Andrea Bags - 07-06-2022 good luck Lenovo support sucks RE: Trying Le no vo - eljot88 - 07-06-2022 Don’t you think that they will open a box? It’s just a one black sticker. They probably have these kind of stickers in thousands. Better remove the sticker than lost 2000$ RE: Trying Le no vo - mothered - 07-09-2022 @kissedmoon, any progress with your SE? I'm waiting on a refund to have enough funds. Also, something that's putting me off is that the laptop model I want isn't on stock and other alternatives take like 4-6 weeks to ship out. RE: Trying Le no vo - holio2k - 07-09-2022 I recently tried Lenovo with a laptop I bought legit from another retailer and did a lost in transit return so I had legit receipt and the Legion 5 laptop. Got the refund from the retailer after a few days later. Success! So I thought I’m gonna try to my luck again and contacted Lenovo Premium support and told them my laptop needed repairs. They sent me a UPS label so I did a UPS scan edit so the tracking showed that the laptop had been signed and delivered to their workshop. I gave them the UPS receipt and a receipt from the retailer. After a few days i called them and asked how long the repairs would going to take. A couple of days later they e-mailed me and told they could not find my laptop. They started a investigation with UPS and after 30 days later they closed the investigation without finding anything and the laptop got a ”lost” status. After two months of calls, escalations, special teams, and e-mails. I finally got an e-mail from their top EMEA Customer communication bitch telling me they have closed the case and no that they would not do anything to help me. Then silence. No explanation. No response of my e-mails and the reps on the phone could not give me any answers because they did not had not a clue why they would shut down the case. I had a legit receipt, tracking number and everything so I was 100% sure they would offer me a replacement or some kind of other compensation. But no, I don’t know where I fucked up. I think they know they somehow fucked up and lost my laptop and had a feeling I was SEIng them and don’t know the method I used. |
