On my end, they said that it can take 14 days or two weeks for their return center to process the refund. They also said that if my refund is not process by X date then they will “investigate” with their return department regarding the delay.

Try it by yourself
My returned item is worth less than 5$
But they still want me to wait 1 month.
Return for "damaged item"
(this is another account)
And they both received same OFM email
But they didn't link them, because if that was the case they would have been both closed.
It's a new thing guys, i'm 100% sure it's to catch on FTIDS
What would i benefit from spewing shit?
It's has for sure something to do with account standing
Because I have an account where I have hundreds of GC balance and the FTID worked smoothly
Stick to EB and DNA on fresh accounts with some legit orders if you want to hit big amounts
Add prime it's will help for sure
Amazon is getting harder and people claiming " its easy" it's most likely their first SE and they have an old account with legit orders

That's the problem with LIT, because they think they will get the package by doing an investigation with the carrier and they will fail

No as I know of, but I do have one return pending on a different account and that's the first time it happened to me that I had to wait so long for a refund. Usually, they process refund in about 2-3 business days, but one of my an acquaintance of mine experience the same sort of issue with refund delay and he called or chat with them and they said they couldn't do anything so he escalate it with a supervisor I guess. The next morning, they advised him that they checked the item and saw it didn't match what was shipped so they declined the return and he decided to chargeback.

No no it was my 6 7th time i did refund but not the same account

Yeah so first refund on that account.
Amazon account specialist are now investigating any suspicious activity (even a friend who is a legit buyer got OFM'ed)
He bought a drone and then he returned it and he forgot the battery
He got his refund and a beautiful OFM email asking him for this return lol.

Don't be surprised If they decide to reverse the transaction at a later date after the refund was processed. It's happened on countless occasions with the flawed so-called FTID, which Is a variant of the LIT.
