Can I just sign into an account and claim DNA when an order arrives and they wont investigate? As stated by @Nabeshin, do not use the DNA with Apple - they tend to release themselves from lability, and ask to deal directly with the carrier. So would it be possible to use it to avoid meeting the requirement of providing a police report to them if asked ? RE: Apple one-time exception (?) - Hinolsi - 06-22-2022 I'm trying to place an order on apple but they seem to always cancel my order. Not too sure what to do to avoid this RE: Apple one-time exception (?) - johnnyboiog88 - 06-22-2022 (06-22-2022, 07:42 PM)Hinolsi Wrote: I'm trying to place an order on apple but they seem to always cancel my order. Not too sure what to do to avoid this I have this issue, I think it will likely be a problem with some form of discrepancy with your billing address and shipping address RE: Apple one-time exception (?) - Fugayse - 06-22-2022 (06-21-2022, 11:09 PM)larry_ Wrote: Hey! Saw a reply on a thread talking about Apple one-time exception They have for sure stopped the one-time exception now that all these people doing EB claims (including me LOL)) its gonna be 10x harder to get a successful claim if you try right now. earlier this month tho it was insanely easy RE: Apple one-time exception (?) - D1919 - 06-22-2022 (06-22-2022, 07:42 PM)Hinolsi Wrote: I'm trying to place an order on apple but they seem to always cancel my order. Not too sure what to do to avoid this Are your details matching up throughout your shipping/billing etc? Could be that they’re detecting a fraud claim before it has even started. Have you hit them before? I did this for a watch ~£400 of value. Started the refund process 2 weeks ago, received a refund yesterday. They just request pictures of the empty box and a police report. Legitimately. I just contacted my local police dept. who had me fill out an online form through their website. The response from the police was, to put a long story short, "it's not our problem", but after filling out the form they sent me a copy of my responses. The apple rep I spoke to on the phone said it was just so they have "proof that the problem exists", in their own words. Can I just sign into an account and claim DNA when an order arrives and they wont investigate? So lets say I order an iPad and when received I say that it doesn't turn on. Can I ask for the one time exception to not send it back and have the refund anyway ? Maybe by making up an excuse saying that I'm leaving the country for an unknown amount of time and that I didn't take it with me as it was not working at all. |
