RE: Is UPS Catching on? - thebuffer - 06-15-2022

I have to FTID UPS labels all the time for my amazon refunds. Just to ftid3 so deliver the empty parcel next door and fake all the information on the label, change the senders address and name completely and the tracking id i like to add a fake one on top. (keep all barcodes the same - original). This always works for me as in they get delivered next door if thats where u want them to.

that makes sense, just never had that happen before
Never send without a tracking number thats an instant fail now. They have caught on they will re label the package now without it saying so in the tracking. Sometimes it still works on them just a matter of luck really. That's why UPS scan services are so popular right now.

ah ok, had no clue about that, was just following a guide that mentioned to remove that. Will start to keep that if I continue

yes I did.

Yeah that's an outdated guide now you have to make it look legit don't remove any tracking info or leave any names and addresses blank. Also make maxi barcode unreadable. I also found that bubble mailers are giving lower success lately and a small box that feels like something is in it works a lot better for some reason.

sent plenty of legitimate packages , removing senders info without issue for the last couple of years.
so you mean leave the names and addresses on the label? then in the return department they will be able to immediately see what order it is concerning and simply tell you that you sent back an empty box or with another product. this happened recently only tracking info was on the label.

trying first time with a box not had issues with mailers, so far.
are you sending empty and claiming that it contained the returned items?

thanks, interesting (in a bad way).
can you say if this was in europe or the us?
did the courier collect it from your address or did you drop it off at a ups pick up point?

this was in the us. I dropped it off at a pick up point. After not removing the tracking number, it works fine now. No issues after that

thanks, pick up points are the way to go as couriers will pick up on it immediately. I did hear a more experienced worker in a pick up point explain to her co-workers never accept a package that is missing details... Have dropped off a package at a ups depot, the worker commented on the label missing details but scanned it anyway. There is a semi-legit reason I have in my pocket if someone asks about why the sender info is removed.

Had an experience after leaving the tracking number that the warehouse was able to link the package to the order.
First time it happened. Didnt happen when the tracking number was missing.

What do you think about removing one number or re-arranging some of the numbers to make it mismatch but it would pass initial cursory inspection.

The label would've then been reprinted based on the details of the scan.

So remove all the personal info and RMA, but leave the actual tracking #?

That's one way of applying It.
