Yeah this would be like minimum several months of developing a relationship before you can even consider bringing up favors like that, and that's assuming the driver even wants to talk to OP and is an anti establishment type.
This is a real longshot.
If OP can pull this off in a limited timeframe then he is OG psychopath.
I would recommend hacking into his social media first so you can relate with some common interests. Also if you hack the guy you can dig up some dirt on him and then potentially blackmail too worst case scenario.
This is not real advice btw but if you were to hypothetically speedrun social engineering a fedex driver that would be the best way

There are very few drivers who're willing to risk their job, even for close friends/relatives.

Me too, definitely want to see what transpires, and how things go. I have funds at UPS, FedEx and Amazon. They are all very oblivious, and never hear about packages missing or something, there's cameras inside their vehicles and tracking on their trucks too.
