It's been a while since that happened but it either goes into a convenience store or the post office, depending on if Amazon itself or the local post office agency delivers the package.

You're right, very good thing about masks haha.

Got it, thanks!

Quote:Try and establish what warrants an OTP.

I get a OTP when I specifically ask the package to be delivered in an Amazon Counter (not Locker) if I remember correctly; though I think it's also happened that the delivery driver dropped it at the Amazon Counter when I was away and I had a OTP. It was a while ago so I'm not sure.

Sorry I don't get it, how do you get someone of the opposite sex to get the package if you're the only one in your apartment?

I'd also like to know where I can get a member of the opposite sex to retrieve my packages.

My friend, you have to read between the lines a little here. This is SE, and you need to find your own females to grab your package! ( I hope you get the joke here).

I've been grabbing my own package since I was 9, I'm actually in the middle or grabbing a package right now!

My goodness, that's some funny stuff!! That's a good one! I'm laughing my ass off.

The whole meaning was to have someone else besides you get your package, but I think you get my drift. They don't need to know who lives with you or by you. Sounds like you're having fun regardless, and that's a big part of life!

Still laughing bro!

So If the above events are excluded from the delivery, do you believe an OTP will not be required?

Likely not required. In any case, I will probably be there whenever the package is delivered - I'd just prefer not to have to face the driver unless absolutely necessary.

I was about to order but I just noticed that the SSD I was about to get is sold by a 3rd party seller, as are almost all the ones I'm looking at. I've had legitimate DNAs reimbursed even for 3rd party sellers before but at that price point I don't think I'll risk it.

RE: DNA in an apartment - Hawpe - 05-25-2022

Since I can't order the SSD I'm rethinking the strategy. I want to order 2 HDDs along with the DS920. With those I'm 99% sure they won't fit in the mailbox, and the order says that a signature OR OTP will be asked... if it's a signature then it'll be fine, but if it's a OTP I'm kinda screwed for a DNA. What would my next best bet be? Can't claim EB on 2 different packages (especially given their weights).

Even If the weights are fine, claiming each Item was missing In two separate packages that arrived on the same consignment, will raise suspicion.

Hit one or the other.

If I can’t DNA I’ll likely claim EB on the package with the HDDs (most expensive and lightest) but they’ll be suspicious anyway given that it’s still pretty heavy at 1.5 kg. What’s my next best bet? Boxing?

Are you planning to EB both HDDs?

Also, what's their exact weight?

I was counting on the fact that there’d be two packages, one with the HDDs inside and one with the DS920 but I think there’ll be one package for each HDD so I’m kinda screwed. Announced weight is 750g per HDD.

SE only the one HDD.

Send the other one back for a legit refund, reorder It on a different account and SE It thereafter.

Is that the gross or net weight?
