The company also didnt send me any tracking details until i emailed them about PS5 missing (DNA) - will use to my advantage. Depends on how big the company is, most PayPal claims succeed because the company simply don't respond within the timeframe. If there's no signature/picture taken then it's a matter of waiting, the problem with DNA these days is companies asking for a police report. You can usually BS them but it's long. For every piece of hardware? I didn't think Amazon checked that throughly for devices that aren't theirs Plus, if they were so meticulous, the wrong item or EB methods would never work, right? You really think that returning a different serial would be a problem? What about returning the "blacklisted" device inside the good one's box, so that the external serial matches? Do you think they'd check the device as well? The SN is kinda hidden in the Quest 2, you have to remove a piece of the strap to see it RE: Playstation DNA (UK) - mothered - 05-12-2022 (05-12-2022, 08:49 AM)Nabeshin Wrote: For every piece of hardware? I'm simply stating how goods are Invoiced, and not the action(s) taken under suspicious/fraudulent circumstances that warrant a thorough Investigation by their fraud department - which can take up to 45 days to complete. The duration demonstrates just how In depth their Investigation Is. It takes 4 seconds to push up on the strap and reveal the serial number. A 4-year old can do It. So you think they do such a throughout check on every return, even if it's the same item as the one I ordered? They really care that much? And would they act on it since there's nothing actually suspicious? I could've simply misplaced a device, no? Just curious, of course.. how else would you "launder" the device otherwise? I could've simply misplaced a device, no?If suspicion Isn't raised, It won't give them reason to check - they don't have the manpower to thoroughly go through each and every return. That's one reason why some claims are Instantly approved. Oh ok, so you're saying there's a (good? decent?) chance that it'll go smoothly since I'm returning a device that still has the protective film on it and turns on perfectly? Otherwise, please let me know if you can think of any other method to swap the Quest for something else BTW: I just got an email saying they're gonna refund or replace the missing item, SE is 99% successful so far I'd say (let's keep 1% for when I get the money back) RE: Playstation DNA (UK) - mothered - 05-12-2022 (05-12-2022, 04:35 PM)Nabeshin Wrote: Oh ok, so you're saying there's a (good? decent?) chance that it'll go smoothly since I'm returning a device that still has the protective film on it and turns on perfectly? If there's no Inconsistencies with your return, there's a good chance of a favorable outcome. A refund Is only complete when the funds have cleared Into your account. Refund complete And no need for the wrong item, i literally want to return the same item i just SEd from Meta while keeping the new one whose SN won't be banned (not even sure Meta will ban this one tho, just speculation) Same item, same mint new condition, different an, doubt they'd bother checking RE: Playstation DNA (UK) - mothered - 05-13-2022 (05-12-2022, 06:31 PM)Nabeshin Wrote: Refund completeA job well done on your end, congrats. |
