I don't think the PS5 has a battery if not a small, button one, which really can't leak... I'd go for wrong item, if anyone you know ordered something cheap off the same amazon in the same day, or if you have something laying around your house that amazon also sells and that you're willing to return instead of the PS5

There is a twitter that notifies u when a ps5 is in stock - Ps5 Stock alert uk - just search that on twitter and there’ll be multiple accounts. Just follow them and turn their notifications on.

I've been trying for months, no luck.

Great, tried the battery leak method and they keep telling me that they need an item even though i keep telling them i have disposed it, and when i was on call the guy kept repeating himself and then ended up saying “sir unfortunately i cannot help u with this matter anymore so if u have any queries contact customer support” and ended the call..

What i said was that it was a bday gift for my son and he opened it and then while he was setting it up i noticed his hand going red and was a little swollen. I checked the ps5 and there was some fluid leaking out the ps5 and i quickly searched it up what it is and apparently it can burn your skin, cause redness swell etc and it can cause blindness therefore it shall be disposed (i added the disposed line myself but still it should work). He looked into it for 10min then said the usual that they’re sorry etc and that they’ll be happy to return the item for a refund and i said that i have already disposed the item so i cannot do that but he kept saying they cannot investigate this claim further because they need the ps5 back and that i am contacting them after this incident happened. So i said to him that you’re telling me if u were in this situation your first priority was getting a compensation rather then take your son to the hospital to seek medical advice. Overall talked to two agents and both asked for a return :/ . What can i do to further SE this like what are my options. They sent me a QR code should i FTID?

Request your claim be escalated.

What exactly would be leaking in a PS5?
There's literally no battery except for an extremely small one for onboard memory (think time settings and such), I don't see why the leaking method would work for this kind of item
Would've worked better if you said it caught on fire, maybe
