If you claim the package appeared to be tampered with, there's a high chance Amazon will request a PR.

Even when purely saying the watch was not enclosed In the box (hence not a theft-related Incident), Amazon's pea-brain reps still tend to ask for a report. I'm not suggest a PR will happen, but rather the possibility exists.

Unfortunately, the Postal Service is delayed and it seems like the package will first be delivered tomorrow. So the waiting game continues.

lol, had exactly the same last week. This happened and might help you out:

- Ordered Monday, delivery expected tuesday
- Entered a 'giftnote' with a text as: Happy B'day baby! Finally your Apple Watch! Enjoy it!
- Got e-mail on tuesday that it's delayed until thursday, so I ran into AMZ chat
- Asked them if they are really really sure it would come thursday, because it's my girlfriend's bday thursday and don't want to come empty handed.
- Operator told me he would ask DHL to give mine priority (haha, as if they would ever do that)

Thursday: Delivery day.
- Item got delivered, immediately went to chat to tell them there was not actual watch in my box
- They asked me if box was damaged / opened, I told them that I wasn't really sure, but I did have to open the seal so I guess not
- Operator wanted to send me a new watch, with delivery tomorrow. They really tried to push this option like 2 / 3 times

Now, because I already said earlier to them that it was her birthday today, I told them I would go to a physical store which I just called during this helpdesk chat conversation and I knew for sure they had stock. But, if they didnt have it, I would come back to AMZ to buy one after all for day after.
Also said that I really needed the money back to buy another one, as I would have a negative bank balance after paying twice. Operator promised me to speed up the refund and case closed.
