A previous member here said his claim failed as they said all items are checked when shipped by hand so I think so.
Unfortunately LV do not state the weight and I can’t seem to find it on other websites.

Who's to say he's telling the truth? He could've made the whole thing up and there's no evidence to suggest he's being truthful, which Is why verbal verification holds no value whatsoever. You should've pursued your claim further based on what I've just said.

If it's just a baseball cap, then I'd say 6-10 ounces. The package with everything inside shouldn't weigh more than a pound.
