Do they even check to verify police reports? last I knew the police wont hand out details about a police report. Just keep a template around and submit a fake one.

They do check to see If the report Is valid.

The police may not provide the actual details of the report, but they do confirm that It's been filed.

Don't mess around with a government agency.

Falsifying a report of a given officer can be quite serious.

Uk police are awful they won’t even bother investigating, get a crime reference number and explain the situation, id put money that they will close the case due to lack of evidence

You're directly targeting a law enforcement agency that's a clear-cut case of fraudulent Intent, as opposed to an alleged offence against an online/In-store retailer.

The ramifications speaks for Itself with the former.

I've called to get information from a police department before and have always been told to "fuck off" under normal pre-tenses. But then again using a forged notary stamp is something ive got the balls to do as well. I guess risk tolerance varies.

oh did you actually lose the item in transit or was this your SE ?

Did you contact UPS beforehand which is why they marked it as lost?

Wondering if I should try to do the UPS lost route for my SE before PR... cuz yeah just simpler lol

That's how It should be with every police department.

Their resources should be spent dealing with cases that warrant police action.
