We shall await updates.
Update:

The package was collected by the courier today. Should be waiting around for the next couple of days. I'm assuming I would receive an email confirming a refund and I'm sure they'll get in contact with me if the SE fails. Regardless, I'll keep this thread updated as soon as possible.

Are you attempting apple? Where did you get the dummy phone and does it come with the same stickers as the new iPhones come with?

Check previous posts. There is all described. Stickers usually don’t come with phone. There is a different auction, but both items can be sold by the same seller, so shipment cost is less.

Update:

Spoke to a customer service rep on live chat requesting an update regarding my return. I was reassured that my return has been received and was currently being processed. Currys refund policy states that refunds can take up to 14 business days. The package was collected on the 4th, so not quite there yet but I'm hopeful that I will receive a refund this Thursday or maybe before then.

I honestly think they may have lost my return also. I attempted to get the parcel collected on three separate occasions, but I was busy at the time and wasn't available for the time slots they provided me. Instead, I brought the parcel to a local DPD parcel shop last Monday. Which was also the last day I could return the item according to Currys returns policy. They gave me a tracking number, but it doesn't work and I can't see the whereabouts of my return.

I haven't said anything yet, but I will wait until this week to see if there are any more updates. Did you contact them asking for an update on your return? If so, did you call them or use their live chat service?

I've spoken to a rep on live chat on two separate occasions regarding my return and they have reassured me each time that my return was in fact received and is being processed, and I will receive my refund soon. One of the reps even escalated my claim and said that my return would be 'prioritised'.

Don't push too much the paperwork or they might get suspicious.
Act normal.

Nope i decided to wait 14 days for it to be processed but they got in contact with me saying it was missing, not sure why. Just asked me to sign a declaration form, assume I should be getting a refund soon.

That's "up to" 14 business days, meaning at the maximum.

It may be finalized sooner.

Update:

I received a phone call from DPD yesterday, claiming that my parcel wasn't collected by the courier since there was no returns label on the package, therefore it has been in my local parcel shop since the 4th April.

When arranging a return either through collection or drop off with Currys, they require you to fill out an online form and state that the courier will put all relevant labels on the package. At least that's what a rep told me when I spoke to them on live chat. I also received no emails containing QR codes or anything of that nature.

I was concerned that I would no longer be eligible to return the package since it exceed their 14 day returns policy, but I explained my situation to a rep and they were able to rearrange collection for me today. I'll provide more updates as soon as possible.
