RE: LIT fraud - mothered - 04-02-2022 This Is a prime example of why the LIT (which Is a variant of the flawed so-called FTID) should not be used. Carrier companies that operate on a large scale, were not born yesterday - their consignments are closely monitored as they're travelling through their network. Live and learn. Quote:Should I be worried? It should not be taken lightly. Hopefully the findings of their Investigation will deem the matter Inconclusive. Quote:and LIT label was performed correctly. If It was, you wouldn't be In this predicament. Hey, thank you for your reply. Doesn't it seems like to you that they are only trying to scare me (the store/customer support agent). They did not have a single update for months - over 50 emails. Suddenly on 1 April they did not have update either. After I wrote them one passive-aggressive email they within 1 HOUR come up with that story with DHL in email reply. Don't you find this timing kinda unrealistic and just some scare tactic from them? It can go either way - nothing will be done about It, or pursue It further. The acts they've mentioned (§ 263 et seq. StGB), Is fraud and embezzlement, which Is pretty serious. It's not my Intention to scare you, but rather stating the facts and possibilities. RE: LIT fraud - phisbaby999 - 04-28-2022 (04-01-2022, 07:28 PM)wsupreme Wrote: LIT = lost in transit - return. Yes boxer from DE sucesfully shipped it and somehow after investigation they figured out that this might be potentional fraud and in my first message I mentioned what they said me in the email. Can you please explain how to actually do the lit word for word i still can understand how y’all make seems the package lost after send it to them, please explain 🙏🏽 RE: LIT fraud - mothered - 04-28-2022 (04-28-2022, 12:07 AM)phisbaby999 Wrote: Can you please explain how to actually do the lit word for word i still can understand how y’all make seems the package lost after send it to themPut simply, the Ink on the shipping label disappears while the package Is travelling through the carrier's network, hence It cannot be Identified and deemed "lost In transit". There was an investigation with DHL company I did LIT - returned it to them. I received an email from store - DHL told us that it might be possible fraud - we are reporting this fraud to the police and wait for the investigation by the public prosecutor's office. A charge of attempted fraud under § 263 et seq. StGB has been filed with the police. I read everything else you mentioned in your thread. Customer Service Rep told you DHL reported back to them saying its fraud. Now here is what you do, call DHL and give them the tracking number and ask what happened to your package to cross check if it is a scare tactic by the Store. They will most likely tell you its lost in transit - no more. Then you take a ref number of your convo and write them another email stating you contacted them yourself and they said otherwise. You dont wan't to be naggy but you need clarification as to what happened after you sent the item back. I'll help you with the email if thats what DHL tells you. Keep us updated.
