That's what I'm referring to with this:

So is there a point building the account back up (legit purchases, small SE's, etc.)? Or just starting a new one?
Only negative.

I've been doing high value refunds for quiet some time. In between legit orders - never had my account blocked.

Most likely because you've SEd smartly, by allowing a sufficient gap from one SE to the next, not using the same method many times In succession, and (as mentioned) making legit purchases In between.

Unfortauntly I was under the impression that I was doing all of the above to reduce the risk of the account being flagged. I guess not! However, I have done pretty well on the one account over the past several years.

I've appealed a few accounts, they'll either say it wasn't a mistake or it was and leave it flagged lol.
I think there is, but you can't repeat the same patterns.  If you've only done refunds for high value items with one method, they'll see that in your history and decline your claims moving forward. In the past I personally preferred to start new ones on the side and continue using 1 so usually I had 2 active accounts going.

Ok so I'm going to start building history on a new account at the same time, cant hurt to have two.

To my knowledge, amzn fraud detection system links new accounts to old very well. As such a new IP, new device, new cc, new postal address and new acc name is needed.

Does anyone have a different opinion to this? Or any points that I am missing?

Nice.

Just as a matter of Interest, what's the exact age of the account?

To be honest I think I'm also going to contest the warning notification. I'm sure I wont get anywhere but theres no harm in trying

You've done exceptionally well with the account.

If you can manipulate and justify the events leading to the flagged account, by all means request an escalation.
