If that's the case, It should be clearly stated as they've done with non-shipping to Russia and Ukraine.

As It stands, It's a false representation of their service.

Oh, there's actually a blue banner in the item page that says "Not available for delivery to Italy", didn't notice it at first
But yeah, not the best e-commerce, they don't even tell you an item is out of stock until you click to add it to your cart, that's kinda of a shady practice, since they also offer to add it to your wishlist instead, a subtle way for customer retention

Oh well.. what's my next option? I wonder if such a "cheap" item could get refunded by AMZ without any investigation even if I did a SE on that account just a month ago

So far I haven't found any info on other shops I could hit, so I'm kinda rounding up my situation now:
- another member of my family has an Amazon account, but one or more methods of payments are present on both that account and mine
- I SE'd their .de website a month ago
- the item I'm going for is around 350€

Given all this, I'm thinking about hitting the SE with the second account on the .it domain, I don't think they'll stir up a serious investigation for such a "small" DNA and so they shouldn't even check into the multi-account thing, right?
Or should I just use my main account since it's been a month already? it would still be a different country after all

Or, I could create a brand new account, but all of the VCCs I can generate would be tied to my name, can I lie about the invoice name/address on Amazon as well as the name on the card? Sounds like overcomplicating matters to me (I'd also need a drop point)

@mothered sorry to tag you, but I'd like your opinion on the above post, and regarding what Amazon can see/check regarding my payment card details

All good, no problem at all.

Firstly, a given account hasn't been closed, so there's no cause for concern with multi-accounting.

In terms of your account questions/concerns, going by all the Information above, whichever account you decide on using, you'll still be tied to that account either by name or payment system. You're better off selecting one that has the best credibility.

Cool, better off using the aged account then

Just wondering, do you know of any EU alternatives to privacy.com to get a prepaid credit card that's completely anonymous? I've got Revolut but every VCC I generate will still be tied to me

This masked VCC provider (that allows you to use any name you like), Is only for the US.

I'm not aware of any for EU off the top of my head.

Thanks, I'll see if I can get someone to sign up on that site for me, worth a try

You're welcome.

In the meanwhile, I'll see what I can come up with during my travels on the net.

Ever tried putting a fake invoice name/address on Amazon, while paying with a VCC that has your name on it? Would it work or would the bank refuse it? And in case it goes through, would Amazon be able to see the real details of the card owner (without a full blown investigation, that is)?
