RE: SEing a steering wheel - riz777 - 01-13-2022

Quote: What's the purpose of this approach?

If you're going to claim It's broken, the Item Is obviously within your possession, so I don't see how a denial of signature Is relevant.

Well I mean, I could act frustrated because I wasn’t the one that collected it, for example sending it to a place with roommates, they could sign it and steal it. It’s not theirs so I should be the only person signing for it.

Quote: The wrong Item Is purchased from the same company on a different account, and delivered to another address.

When they request the return, send the wrong Item. They'll scan It, see that It's part of their Inventory and assume the Incorrect Item was mistakenly dispatched. A refund/replacement will be Issued thereafter.

So you literally take a random thing that’s sold from Amazon and claim that came instead?

Understood, but a household member Is still considered an authorized recipient, therefore the responsibility falls on you.

It's like having the package delivered to an apartment complex, and reception signs (with their real signature) on your behalf.

There's a lot more Involved but In a nutshell, yes.

@mothered
it came, postman left it at the door and made sure it was collected by eyes. Don’t know what to do now, the package came in 2 separate boxes too.

So he only viewed the collection and left, correct?

If so, his word holds no value to verify receipt of goods.

Did they both arrive at the same time by the same driver as per the event above?

RE: SEing a steering wheel - riz777 - 01-17-2022

Told the rep that it still hasn’t arrived and he said he’ll pass it onto his higher ups and i should wait for an email.
Within the email it said I should check with my neighbours, hidden spots etc and if it’s still not there by the 19th I should contact them again.
Anyone know what to expect from there?

That's good news.

As It stands, they're definitely under the Impression that you haven't received It, and they have no clue on Its whereabouts - hence asking you to check with the neighbours etc.

They've opened an Investigation, however there's no evidence (at this stage) to decline your claim. If there was, they would've done so already.

Contact them on the 19th saying you still haven't received It.

Thanks for your help, I contacted them again today to put more pressure onto them and make it seem more legit I guess.
I'll let you know how it goes.

It doesn't hurt to give them a gentle reminder to speed things up and move forward with the claim.

We shall await their response.
