RE: SK Hynix SE - karlthegod - 01-12-2022 Update: They said they cannot do a refund without the item in hand. I explained that I was freaking out because I had made sure it was in the package and how I needed it for a school project and such. They told me only thing I could do was file a claim with UPS. I'm stuck, what should I do? escalate the claim? file the claim? @mothered RE: SK Hynix SE - mothered - 01-12-2022 (01-12-2022, 01:58 AM)karlthegod Wrote: Update:Although this should've been done prior to the SE (I assume you would've researched their terms), find out If they're responsible for loss of goods during transit. If so, then they're liable and obligated to evaluate your claim without the Item In hand. It seems very Vague, but doesn't mention anything about loss of item during transit. Only mention of a term that could be used for the loss of the item, is the part about the loss of data when returned, nothing else seems to come close. I did read it before hand, but it was Vague, just wanted to double check. Should I go about the escalate of the ticket? Some terminology can be rather difficult to Interpret and In many cases, It's somewhat misleading. Remain adamant that you did comply with their request by returning the product, but whatever happened to It during shipment, was beyond your control. As per escalating, I have no clue if they escalate it or not, as every email is signed off as the company name, no support rep's name or the position. I will keep trying, just haven't done much more due to quarantine, and having limited access to the internet (or good internet) RE: SK Hynix SE - mothered - 01-20-2022 (01-20-2022, 03:17 AM)karlthegod Wrote: but when asked where it was stated in the warranty terms, they sent me their entire warranty terms, but no where does it specify about being stolen during delivery. If they have nothing to hide, they'd have everything to show, but It's not the case at all. They're avoiding your specific request, by sending unrelated material In an attempt to complicate and confuse matters. Every company's claims department has some sort of a senior level, so keep Insisting on the escalation. Yeah that's everything I'm thinking. They have not even responded since then. Just found that kinda weird RE: SK Hynix SE - mothered - 02-06-2022 (02-06-2022, 09:04 AM)karlthegod Wrote: They have not even responded since then. Just found that kinda weirdIt happens with a lot of major companies. They're obligated to address customer concerns, so keep requesting the escalation. If need be, repeat It 50+ times until you get a response. |
