Because of self infliction or something among those lines ?
You'd claim that their packaging had jagged edges/sharp points hence caused the Injury, so they're liable, not yourself.

(10-22-2021, 11:33 AM)Tesla6 Wrote: Also , what would be the reason for the return prior the cut ?
There are many reasons- change of mind, received the same one as a gift, didn't like the color, the size was not a good fit and the list goes on.

Thank you for your reply.

Im thinking of saying something like this :

Dear XXX ,

I would like to return my order. The reason for this is because the size did not fit me.
I have also cut myself because of the very sharp edges from the packaging. This caused blood to be all over the item unfortunately. The blood is dried up as of now and embedded in the garment. Im also tested positive for COVID - 19 recently.

I hope to hear something back soon.

- What would you add/remove to this ?

Every SE Is a step-by-step process.

Only say this to begin with (I've slightly altered your reply):
Quote:I have a problem with my order, the size does not fit me. Your help Is much appreciated.

See how they respond and If they request the Item be returned, you can state the rest:

The next course of action will be based on their response.

Would you recommend purchasing directly or from third party ?
Im thinking of directly because of the reputation.
Will keep you updated when its time , a week or two.

RE: How to SE an expensive clothing item. ? - Akoz - 10-22-2021

Best bet for Garment SE's is to order multiple items of clothing with it some cheap items, socks, Underwear maybe a T-shirt and claim the Expensive item didn't arrive with the rest, Personally, I have the highest success rate with that I am sure there are other methods but I know that one has worked for me.

It's hard to generalize. It depends who's handing the claim at the time of the SE.

A third party entity can be just as difficult as any other business, or on the other hand, extremely simple to SE due to employee lack of training and awareness. It's a lot more definitive If you had a specific company In mind - research and experience will reveal a lot about their operations.

As of now im thinking of purchasing it directly.
The reason for this is because i found the following on their T&C. “ IF YOU BELIEVE A PRODUCT WAS DELIVERED DAMAGED OR FAULTY OR HAS DEVELOPED A FAULT, YOU SHOULD INFORM US AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, “

Would this be any good ?

RE: How to SE an expensive clothing item. ? - PEDRO_PEDRO0 - 10-22-2021

An alternative would be to use the partial method. Order two things, the expensive item and something else (think of something that might come in the same box). When arrived you say that the expensive item was not in the box and request that you get your money back (maybe you can say that it was a birthday present and that since it did not arrive you had to buy something else.). Once you get the money back, make a refund for the cheap item (many stores allow you to go in person and receive the item without asking you questions).

It's good that you've researched their terms - It's the first port of call prior to formulating the method.

It sounds good, go for It.
