I was thinking of ordering online and then, potentially, SE’ing both the store and Sony.  In terms of Curry’s, I was thinking either DNA or sealed box return  (dependent on how it’s delivered).  For Sony, thinking I’d do empty box after troubleshooting them as defective. So, some questions:

1) What’s Curry’s like at the moment? Signature on delivery and anyone had experience with sealed box returns?  Any suggestions or things to watch out for?
2) Have you had experience troubleshooting with Sony and doing empty box returns? I’ve done Bose previously but that was some time ago!
3) What’s the risk is SE’ing both, ie is Sony likely to check POP with Curry’s? - obviously being notified of a return to the store would be somewhat of a red flag!

Really appreciate any insight and / or advice. TIA.

Hey, did you make any progress on this?

A couple of developments. I’ve done the Bose SN a few times, using EB/tampered and FTID. All but one of these worked. Sony SN it did more recently (I didn’t go down the Curry’s DNA route). Still waiting the outcome on the latter but I’m hopeful.
