The rep replied my email after I had answered some of his questions (picture of the damaged table I claimed, cost of repair of the table, pictures of the burnt device etc). In his reply, he thanked me and gave me a $25 giftcard out of 'freewill' and said the usual 'we will be looking into your experience and will give you an update soon'. While the amount is small, it gives me some hope that this is doable. I don't think SE'ers use this method with Amazon. I just wish I prepared with pictures to match my claims. Now I highly believe that Amazon can pay/compensate for claimed damages if the amount is within a reasonable range (below $1k). I will keep you posted on my progress boss. RE: Amazon response. It's looking good so far. (07-14-2021, 08:34 AM)Magicfingers Wrote: and said the usual 'we will be looking into your experience and will give you an update soon'.Typical Investigation message. In terms of damages, It legally covers (but not limited to) pain & suffering, loss of Income and In your case, damage caused to equipment/personal belongings as a direct result of faulty goods sold by the company. That aside, 25$ In your pocket Is better than being In theirs. Well done with that, as well as the way you've handled your SE so far. RE: Amazon response. What does it mean? - mothered - 11-16-2021 I'm sure the claim has been finalized after 4 months. The OP hasn't been active for around a month, so there may be a delayed response. RE: Amazon response. What does it mean? - Magicfingers - 02-19-2022 I apologize, I've been away for a few months. About the SE, I did succeed in 2/5 claims but it really wasn't worth the stress. I kept going back and forth with different Reps for over 3 weeks. I'm still trying new methods for $$$$ from them though. |
