If the package Is purely left at the doorstep without any communication with Its occupants, It's fine to DNA It.

The photos and GPS Is useless- It only confirms the delivery to the "address", and not to the "person". Anything could've happened to It when left unattended. A passerby stole It, or perhaps the driver himself took the photo and a few minutes later came back and grabbed the package. I've personally witnessed this (the driver) on CCTV footage at my work, so It does well and truly happen.

If It's on the same consignment, I believe you're referring to the partial method which Is very similar to the missing Item method, but with a slight variation.

I haven't checked the weight of your Item, but It appears too heavy for the partial.
