Everyone has SEd at some point In their lives, but haven't recognized It as "social engineering" at the time the event took place. I feel like this quote highlights a good difference between someone who would be good at SEing and bad. Like, I'm not great at SEing because I don't recognize moments like this and, and much less do I execute on them. Last time I did something like this was at like a Wendy's or some shit and I thought I got the wrong sandwich, and I offered to return the one they gave me. Turns out they didn't, it just wasn't labeled correctly, but I felt pretty fucking bad about it still like I'd just stolen something lol. Which I guess I did, in theory.
