I can agree that it's gone a slightly different direction, there's a little more advertising and with growth the community isn't as tight but at the same time activity is killing it and I still enjoy coming on here more than any forum I've ever been on so yeah I'd say alive and well.

Growth will always lead to changes, but I don't think the community ever became less tight. Our members and interests might change as time passes, but I still see some of the same people I met years ago. That's what makes this all worthwhile.
Ads are just here to make sure we're online for years to come.

That's definitely been my experience if the site. As for dead, people have been saying that probably every single year we've been online. I'm not sure what peoples expectations or criteria are, but we're doing better than we did in previous years. It's a bit of an ignorant comment from people who haven't looked at the stats or content properly.

All In all, It depends how you define "dead".
If you believe 150-200 posts per day represents an Inactive board, then you're under a total misapprehension.

I don’t think this forum is dead just has a good amount of moderators and members that are very helpful throughout any section of the website. Especially mothered 🙌🏼
