What an awful way for someones life to end. Hopefully the husband gets the ultimate sentence, death, or even worse. But you can never really be too sure with China. The man might get a very light sentence, or be subjected to unthinkable things.

Torture. And it happens quite a bit in China. I'd much rather die instantaneously or by lethal injection rather than starvation, suffocation, electrical shocks, beatings, or any of the other nearly one hundred other torture methods listed here.

Equally, I wouldn't want to die from injuries sustained after being set on fire.
