I called them and the lady transfer me to a manager who was an asshole, lol I asked him to send me the debt validation letter and he said he already did I told him he did not, I haven't received it. I believe he knows the collection is not valid that's why he was not able to said he was going to send me one. I told him send me the debt validation letter or you're shit out of luck and hanged up . Plus, they don;t send you validation letters without someone requesting one lol. Think im good.
They cannot process It over the phone- paperwork of their request must be sent outlining the circumstances. If they fail to do so, you have every right to dismiss It.

As another user previously stated. Do not talk to collections unless they can prove it was you who purchased the item. I usually just tell them they got the wrong number. If you used a fake name you should not have to worry.

Although you haven't been active for around 6 weeks, I'd be very Interested to read the outcome.
