You'd be using the "sealed box method". This Is on the grounds that the contents are not visible as per the manufacturer's packaging.

The objective Is to replace the new Item with the old, and not show any signs of tampering. As such, the store person will place It back In their Inventory and Issue a refund/replacement thereafter.
If the box isn't explicitly marked, surely it's possible to just buy a 2nd hand box and cling wrap it?

I don't know the extent of the Inconsistencies.

Is It possible to PM me an Image that clearly displays the tampering?

Yes sir, sent you a PMĀ  Biggrin
Thanks, message received.

I've viewed and zoomed the Image In full HD and If your concern Is the particles under the seal, then I don't think there's anything to worry about. Sure It's noticeable, but given you're solely focusing on that, It makes It seem a lot worse than what It actually Is.

It that the underside of the box?

No sir, the downside of the box is untouched the pic i sent you is the only the upside where its supposed to be opened. So your saying i am good to send it back? And for future attempts i should open on the bottom, correct?

Unless there's a rep who will examine the box In great detail, you should be good to go.

Correct. When you buy a packet of potato chips, do you rip open the bottom or top? I'd say your answer Is the latter. The same applies to any packaging.

It's human nature to open boxes at the top, and the same when examining for any signs of tampering.
Always open at the bottom.

Btw the method worked great, thanks for the free mouse. I guess people at the warehouse need to get their eyes checked haha.

I was quite positive It would, hence my recommendation.

Well done.

It all comes down to the storeperson's experience and attention to detail.

It wouldn't have passed If I Inspected It at work. After 3 decades In the shipping Industry, there's very little (If anything) that goes unnoticed.
