Perfect DNA material.

Go ahead with the method.

If only @Smigger1981 could give us some news about their SE.

I'm interested too in SEing one of these vacuum robot.

I'm also Interested In reading the outcome, however the OP hasn't been active for over a month.

Which other methods would be suitable for an item such as a vacuum robot? Around 3kg of package of moderate dimensions.

I can't think of something different than the Did not arrive method.

It would be hard to find something suitable other than DNA. Perhaps there is some possibility with AR but that will depend on the T&C with which I am not familiar.

Please define "moderate dimensions".

The item
Diameter: 34cm, Height: 92mm, Weight: 3.6kg.

The package should be bigger than.

Thanks for that.

The Issue Is both the weight and dimension of the Item.

* Too big to box without showing signs of tampering at the collection point. Moreover, difficult to calculate sublimation time of 3.6 kg of dry Ice as the weight substitute.
* Obviously too heavy for the missing Item method.
* Due to Its size, It's quite difficult to use the sealed box method by resealing It without any Inconsistencies.

As such, both the DNA (as already mentioned) and the wrong Item received method are suitable. Though, the latter may be costly to locate an Item of the said weight.

What if I do partial method.
I was planning to buy a pair of earphones. I could buy both the vacuum and the earphones and then tell them that I received only the vacuum.
The vacuum weighs 3.6kg, the earphones barely 0.1kg...

I'm going to read more cautiously their T&S, what are your opinion about this? I think it might work...

Even if they tell me that they are 100% sure to put both items inside it I could sai that the package went tampered...Anyway, let's see what happened...

I think it won't work at that shop.

Quote:The number of packages delivered corresponds to what is indicated on the waybill (delivered by the Courier)
Quote:Once the Courier's transport document has been signed, the Customer will no longer be able to make any objection about the quantity and quality of what has been received.

These guys are clever.

From a warehouse error standpoint, I think you have a very effective plan In place.

A picking error Is more likely to happen with multiple Items, than just one on Its own. If they don't have CCTV cameras In place and given It only weighs 100 grams, then I can see this succeeding.

It's more to the fact of being ridiculous.

How can a "signed document" (on delivery of the package without opening It) deem a missing Item, or one that's In bad condition? Just because the consignment shows ex-amount of packages In writing, by no means does It conclude that they were Included In the shipment. This Is the argument I'd be putting In my defense.
