Given the nature of the Item, there are a number of methods to choose from- DNA (obviously), wrong Item received and depending on weight, the missing Item and box method.

Thank you for your reply, it looks like i have explained it wrong! i meant to se as if not having the item and getting them to send you a new one without investment, unlike refunding who requires money first.

It exploded. Obviously you're going to dispose of it for safety reasons.
However, I've had mixed results after telling them I disposed of an item for safety reasons. Sometimes they're okay with it and issue a refund, other times I've been told without proof they cannot move forward.
