The unsigned package bit on Royal mail seems rather useful. Since unless the worker has bodycams, there's no way to prove they didn't just steal the package.

xD Exactly! Anyone can come on my porch and steal the package so I do not feel bad at all. Don't leave $80+ at my doorstep cause it might not be there when I go to get it Wink

As per below, to my understanding, they'll place the package and knock on the door, then step aside and wait for the home's occupant to collect It.

If no one Is home, It's redirected to the local depot awaiting collection.

They did want me to make a police report the one time xD But item was $500-600

A police report, Is standard practice/procedure when using the DNA method.

It's simply used to move forward with the claim.

How will the delivery driver proof that they actually dropped off the product? They could have stolen it.

They're not dropping It off, but rather waiting for a member of the household to accept It after they knock on the door:

while the item Is retrieved

Meaning they'll await for a household member to personally accept It and If they neglect to do so, the delivery Is redirected to a local collection depot.
