It's short for "Registry Editor", that's part of the Windows operating system.

In simple terms and without the tech jargon, It contains just about every configuration and setting used by Windows. However, It must be used with extreme care- any Incorrect edit and/or deletion, can cause significant system Instability and loss of functionality. It can be accessed by typing regedit In the run menu.

I think I will leave that well alone! Thank you for the layman's explanation. Much appreciated.

You're very welcome, and yes, It's best to leave It be.

Even after decades of experience, I've even corrupted It at one point.

If you have a switch I would Recommend Breath of the Wild. Really fun game and there's so much to do before you even finish the story.

These are my last 5 played:
  • Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
  • Grand Theft Auto V
  • World of Warcraft
  • Rimworld
  • Stellaris

Taking a break from Runescape, though I've played it 15 years.

I'm amazed at how It's still going strong.

I remember back In our days on HF, Runescape was extremely popular.

For sure. In 2013, they made a fork of the game from its state in 2007 (now known as OSRS).

I ended up as one of the leaders for a 1000-1500 member clan in the original game.

I still play a fair amount of Runescape. I never got to play back in the old days of the game.

I'm somewhat limited in what I can play. There's only a few games on this laptop - 1) Because it's only got 250GB of space, and 2) It's rather old.

I'm certainly missing my main machine, a desk and my art supplies for hobbies during quarantine.

I play online poker and quiz.

I just finished playing Pathologic (Classic HD) for the first time. It's an odd game to play during the pandemic since it has to do with a plague but its such and interesting game! A lot of weird themes you don't see in games very often. It's a little janky being from 2005 but its insanely well written and has an insane atmosphere.
