RE: Real Life Purge - Mom - 01-17-2020

I'd bunker down. So, essentially, continue to live as I usually do. Home is elevated and, even then, hidden behind tons of nature to the point where neighbors know I live in the area, but no specifics. Just pull up the ladder and I'm done. I'll probably just lounge and sleep through it.

I would not support it, tooo many innocents would be killed for sure.
For me...  It's more like a "Fantasy"  i like the idea of being able to get rid of some assoles , some people that have hurt me in the past, that ruined my reputation, etc.. or just make them suffer... but in reality i wouldn't be able to do that.  I would go hide also on a boat in the middle of a HUGE lake, after breaking in a Bank to get some money to help my loved ones.

and thats how the Asian gangs formed. to help the younger ones get into better places. Well.....thats how it is in cali.
Always support the love ones!

It's always difficult for me to tell with these guys. If they are serious, I agree, no one should have so much resentment for others in themselves that they could bring themselves to commit heinous violent crimes.

And barring a moral standpoint, economically it would be a disaster. Imagine all the small businesses and lower income families already struggling, they would have to completely rebuild their livelihoods every year.

If the purge does happen then there would probably be no more internet so my priorities would look something like looting libraries to collect information, finding shelter, looting warehouses to get whatever essentials I'd need, etc similar to a zombie apocalypse but instead of there being regular zombies it'd be a lot smarter zombies

So, I wanna know, would any of you support it? Personally I wouldn't, I appreciate the sentiment of allowing people to relieve themselves of criminal urges, but I find that lends itself to enjoying it too much. Also, obviously, I do not support murder, legal or not.

And, whether or not you would support it, what would you do if you were forced to participate?

Interested to see your responses :p
I would probably go to the roof of some building and pull out a sniper rifle pick up a suppressor and knock the real crazies out of the world and murder or death dont mean much to me i have whats called depersonalization disorder and definitely hit me up an electronics store.

I'm very sorry to hear about your condition, I myself have struggled with dissociation and depersonalization when withdrawing from drugs, being on certain antipsychotic medications, and while in bouts of depression or psychosis caused by my bipolar disorder.

I know that affection or true connection is hard for people with your condition, but I'd like to extend a hand if you're ever in a bad place, as I know how tough it can be. Stay strong.

Same here. Once I was diagnosed, my family was very understanding and when I met my girlfriend, she was as well. Don't know where I would be without them.

Wishing you all the best.

Can't ask for more than that, you're one lucky Individual to have support from family and your other half.

I do hope your condition Improves as time progresses.

Indeed, I am blessed in that regard, some people in my position are horribly misunderstood.

Thank you greatly for your kind words and wishes.
