It works, but does require manipulating the representative (If need be) several times over.
For Instance, without question, they'll request to resend the file and you do exactly that, but In a "different file format". Keep doing this each time they ask, and assure them that It's working fine on your end. This gives the Impression that you're doing your utmost best to both comply and resolve the matter at hand.
When you've repeated this a number of times, vent your frustration In a firm (yet polite manner) as to why such a simplistic claim for a refund/replacement Is taking so long to process. When SEing, It's not only about what you do, but most Importantly, how you do It.

They've tightened their claims management policies and requesting proof of a video/Image, Is very much a commonality nowadays.
I remember the good old days back on Darkpid, I was trying an SE for an expensive vinyl record player. They asked for a video of the issue, which I obviously couldn't provide, so I came up with what is still one of the most hilarious working methods to me. I claimed to be the son of VERY strict parents who were conspiracy nuts, that believed the government was watching them through any and every camera. Therefore, I was not allowed to take photos or videos inside the house. They bought it and actually sent their sympathies, and I got the record player. I'm actually listening to a record on that very player as I'm writing this.
Moral of the story, there's a way around everything if you can get creative enough.
