Roughly $200. Amazon states this weighs in at 249 grams, 340 grams shipped. I planned on doing a partial, saying the ram is missing. I had other, equally priced electronics in the same shipment. This is not from amazon. Would you recommend cancelling this ? You're perfectly clear with what's written. There's a couple of ways to do this. (1). Each stick will weigh 62 grams (round figures), so you could simply say that one or two sticks were missing, which Is a lot safer for the missing Item method. (2). This Is fairly risky. 250 grams will definitely register a weight on consignment, but that's not to say that they'll cross-check the details with the carrier. As such, the missing Item method can work In your favor. Though If an Investigation Is opened, the SE Is almost guaranteed to fail. When I post my comments pertaining to any method, they're based on exhausting all avenues and leaving nothing to chance. Some users have succeeded with a partial on an Item weighing 400 grams- namely due to the company simply approving the claim, and Ignoring their protocol. This however, will not succeed each and every time and I certainly don't operate on "probabilities", but rather "certainties". What's of relevance Is (obviously) the Item weight. Yeah i completely understand. Option 1 is definitely out of the question for me, as it completely defeats the purpose of my goal. Not that I cant afford it. As for option 2, there is just not enough certainty for me to pursue this avenue. I cant even think of a logical potential success percentage, in regards to whether it will work or not, nor if it does not work, will they accept my return if I say I found all the sticks at a later stage, under the packaging somewhere. I believe It will be genuinely less hassle If I simply DNA it. Thanks! In terms of SEing the total consignment, I believe It's the better option. Do they require a signature on delivery? If so and as I've stated countless times, a package that's marked as delivered Is by no means an Indication that you've personally received It. If they dispute your claim, keep this In mind. Thats the thing, I dont need the GPU from this order. I just bought it so the order looks legit. I just cancelled the order, and ordered the sticks from another website. Its a smaller company but should work. Will DNA the 4 sticks. However just ran into another issue. I ordered an AIO cooler from another website, which i am planning on saying they sent me the wrong item. However I just got an email from them stating that this AIO cooler is "missing" from their warehouse, thus my order will be delayed until they either locate it, or order another one in. Would you say Its best to cancel this order also? My logic for this is that, if they do order one specifically for me, when I say they sent me the wrong item, They might be adamant that they sent me the correct one, if that makes sense? However on the other hand, I could also play the "you couldn't find the AIO cooler so obviously sent me some random cheap PSU for whatever reason" card.... Thoughts? If they had a clear Indication that It was dispatched to you, they've would've stated exactly that, and not try and locate It or order another one In. Based on this, the SE Is working In your favor thus far. Wait for their response. RE: Anyone tried refunding GoPro? - durden666 - 01-09-2020 Small update; the cooler ended up being completely out of stock, AND discontinued, so they cant get more. Called and they switched it to a different one with a little discount. Still going to wrong item it with a psu of equal weight. DNA my 4 ram sticks. Also wrong item my new PSU. All separate shops of course. |
