With partial you mean you sent a cheaper item back to them?

They do have a support team, that handles missing Items on receipt of delivery.

If your SE Is calculated and executed effectively, It will succeed.
What do you recommend? Is it necessary to replace the item with the same weight? Do I need to change the label (putting the label of the SE'ed part on the article that Im sending back) to confuse them? WHat are your thoughts...
I want to try the 'missing item methode' for a sweater/T-shirt or 'wrong item received' for a jacket f.ex
Do you recommend contacting them by mail or are there better ways to SE ASOS?

Yeah, order the item you want, then order a cheaper item to bulk out the package, then claim you only received the cheaper item.
