Their terms & conditions state "We're sorry if the parts in your order are missing or wrong. Just get in touch and we'll put everything right..."

You were not adamant, and did not push your SE hard enough to obtain a refund/replacement. In fact, they SEd "you", by not being complaint with their terms.

Terms & conditions are there for a purpose- to fulfill claims as stated.
Believe me I did and then I was told to PayPal dispute the payment as everything on their system is telling them it was delivered.

Ignore him, his posts are powered by logic instead of experience.

Missing item plus persistence can ensure a refund a lot of the time - of course when the item in question is light enough

I believe it literally depends on the site and in some cases the courier. It will either work or it wont.

RE: Argos - umpal00mpa - 12-22-2019

What about buying air pods from argos, collecting them and then replacing with cheap knock off one for a fiver.. And returning those. Will this work? The rep at the counter won't know.. But will it get clocked later on and will I be called up on it?
