I didn't buy directly from samsung

"Optional" signature, Is not a mandatory signature, hence It's not a necessity to sign on receipt.

First and foremost, did you sign? Also, who's the seller?

No I meant if a seller used RM 48 its usually tracked, I forgot that they can add signature on delivery if they want.

was an unrecognizable scribble anyway.
I've sent them an email saying how the phone wasn't in the box, just need to wait till Monday for a reply.

First things first, why would the seller use RM 48 for a £900 phone? That only insures them for £50!? Crazy people out there.

Second of all, where did you buy it from? It sounds as if you bought it from eBay?

If you use the DNA method - they will probably IMEI block it because that means it's classed as stolen.

If you use the wrong item received, that means there's a possibility that they never sent the phone in the first place and they won't block it because it'll be in the warehouse somewhere.

That's what I thought. I'm not willing to tell where I bought it, since I've been shafted before on leakforums when asking for help with a unique SE case. some cunts grassed on me and contacted the company.

but it is a very reputable company that I would think could easily cope with several £900 losses.

Very good point.

That can however, put a block until the phone Is located (In their warehouse) and If not found, the IMEI block will remain.

Haha okay fair enough, I get that Smile

Crazy that they'd use RM 48 though!! Let us know how it goes!

They've asked for photos and if it was sealed, can't find a thread on a missing item method. What do you reckon? Think saying the security sticker was broke could lead to gold

I feel like seal broke = police report? Not 100% sure, but it seems like if your item DNA or is tampered it seems to lead to a police report, and if done, then usually a refund.

RE: Samsung s10 SE? - GrabThat - 03-12-2019

Update. Because it was "not sign for as damaged" they are saying I need to raise a dispute with PP to recover costs, which is strange. They are also asking for the IMEI, so they don't seem to have the power to block it without my help.

All this seem stupidly amateurish on their behalf using rm48 and not taking note of the IMEI.

Think I'll try my luck with PP and not give them the IMEI.
