Take It from some (myself), who's successfully SEd a resort many years ago using a couple of these methods.
Evidently, you don't do the lot, that's an overkill and will raise suspicion.

I think an idea would be bad door security and someone stole your phone.
That way you dont need to take pictures.

I think an idea would be bad door security and someone stole your phone.
That way you dont need to take pictures.
I feel like that would open a whole can of worms that would make the SE pointless. They’d want to pull tapes / most likely get authorities involved and instead of having a free room etc, you have an actual case on your hands.

Yes, this can certainly be used.
There are so many methods, that It's beyond the scope of this post to mention the lot. Basically, anything that has a negative Impact on your stay (at the hotel) can be used.
